Simply put, our government is too tall, too wide, too heavy, too loud, too aggressive, too intrusive, and certainly too damn expensive. It has grown to behemoth standards and is sucking the life out of American taxpayers who are striving to create a higher standard of living for themselves and their families. Democrats have always worshiped at the shrine of the Almighty Government; but Republicans have also been far too ready to endorse that growth when it served their interests.
The two areas that
most readily reflect this astronomical growth in our nation’s bureaucracy is in
the uncontrolled and unaccounted aggressiveness of the Federal Bureau of
Investigation (FBI) and in the profligate spending habits of
Congress and the Executive branches.
The devolution of operational and ethical standards in the FBI is
symptomatic of what we are seeing up and down the justice system from
Washington, D.C. to our local neighborhoods.
The foolish spending habits of our government flies in the face of any
reasonable person’s ideas about fiscal responsibility. Both of these sacred duties of our elected
officials have been corrupted and abused to a point where it is difficult to
see them being restored to any semblance of respectability.
The FBI has become
partisan, privileged, unprincipled, and operates these days in a rogue fashion
with no presumption of ethics. Our
Presidents and Congress have gotten to the point where they don’t even mention
the words deficit nor debt anymore because they have essentially lost all
meaning. This post will zero in on the
current and recent past operations of the FBI.
It will also highlight how the two major political powers in our country
have simply abandoned any cognizance of fiscal sanity.
The FBI abandoned all
pretense to integrity during the eight years of the Obama Administrations. It literally went off the reservation. Like all federal departments under Obama,
they were politicized and controlled by partisans who served their idealistic
agendas rather than their nation’s security.
Following are several stories that document the devolution of the FBI to
the point today where some people…intelligent people…say that they should be
eliminated altogether or torn down and rebuilt.
Their corruption has indeed reached a level that makes that type of
speculation sound reasonable.

And when the FBI gets
caught red-handed playing their dirty little games, their arrogance will not
allow them to issue a humble mea culpa.
No, they simply keep digging the hole deeper.

This woman is the
Democrat’s version of Sarah Palin and she just loooovvvveees that
spotlight. What kind of person centers
their entire re-election campaign around a practice that a significant
percentage of Americans consider to be murder?
The rot that has been
creeping throughout the FBI has also been spreading in the Department of
Justice and other federal security agencies.
The walls that once separated politics from our government’s security
departments and agencies has been essentially removed and with its destruction,
the credibility of those government employees has hit rock bottom.
The House January 6
Select Committee continues its carnival grandstanding while very few people pay
any attention. Trump made an ass out of
himself; everyone knows it; but it was not a crime and was certainly not an “insurrection”. This bunch of idiotic Democrats, along with
two wayward Republicans, remind me of the kid outside with a popsicle on a hot,
July day. They desperately want it to
last, but it is melting before their very eyes.
It is truly pathetic. Nobody
wants to sit around and watch your ice cream melt.

Justice in our nation
must return to the principle of accountability.
If you do the crime, you should do the time. Reform cannot be a hope or desire or some
fantasy based on wishful thinking. Yes,
we have too many people in prison. Yes,
the dysfunction in our justice system creates legitimate concerns about
continuing the death penalty. Yes, it is
perhaps time to consider which crimes merit prison and which crimes merit
lesser penalties. But giving convicted criminals
absolution for their crimes and a pass on accountability is a recipe for
disaster; the type of disaster that is sweeping across the country today.

Turning to our
government’s spending habits, it is probably sufficiently revealing of their
irresponsible fiscal habits to simply review what they have done lately. So much idiocy and so little time.
Only in the logic of our
government do we find that too much money chasing too few goods can be best
served by dumping MORE MONEY into the marketplace. The CHIPS Act has been passed by
Congress and will be signed by the President.
It will cost $280 BILLION.
It passed in a bi-partisan fashion.
This irresponsible spending bill is on the heels of two full years of
historic spending levels first initiated by Donald Trump and then accelerated
by Joe Biden. Republicans do not get a
pass; they are a huge part of this madness and should stand equally accountable
for its devastating consequences.
The Democrats, in their
quest to reinvent America through the Green New Deal, have finally
convinced Joe Manchin to buy into a smaller version of their Build Back
Better legislative concept that has been labeled The Inflation Reduction
Act of 2022. If passed, it
will cost $433 BILLION. Passage
will require every Senate Democrat plus VP Harris. Arizona Democratic Senator Kyrsten Sinema
might be the only hope to prevent this spending monstrosity from becoming reality. Her support for the package is still in
question.
Following are a number of
stories that deal with these two pieces of legislation, their contents, and how
they might impact our current economic condition. Read the bills, think about how your tax dollars
are being spent, and wonder for yourself how this makes any sense whatsoever in
today’s economic climate.

Act of 2022 actual text: https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/22122281-inflation_reduction_act_of_2022
Here is a one-page
summary of this legislation put out by the Democrat Senate Leadership. Only in the perverse financial world or the
U.S. Government does it make sense that SPENDING $433 billion will
actually SAVE $300 billion. Snake
oil anyone???
https://www.democrats.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/inflation_reduction_act_one_page_summary.pdf
Please note that among
the expenditures in this legislation is $369 billion for Energy Security and
Climate Change. Yeah…solar panels,
windmills, and electric vehicles will sure help our economy! Additionally, Obamacare will be extended at a
cost of $64 billion. It keeps falling
down and they keep propping it up. Remember…
“If you like your plan, you can keep your plan. If you like your doctor, you can keep your
doctor”. Read these stories about
this spending frenzy and see if it makes sense to you.

And while our Congress
makes certain that the American money-making printing presses will continue to
work overtime and our future generations’ debt load will continue to grow
geometrically, our clueless President and his clown show simply continue to
whistle past the graveyard. On the other
hand, maybe they are simply too dumb to realize they are pouring gasoline on a
raging fire. Always keep in mind:
Liberals do not concern themselves with either short-term or long-term
consequences or collateral damage. Their
mantra is “If it feels good, do it!”

“This” is why we
should allow electric vehicles to gradually work their way into our society and
culture through the natural flow of capitalism and the marketplace. Trying to force feed green energy to a nation

usefulness through choice and practicality; not because it some foolish
