The Boomers range from 1946 to 1964. I was born in 1953, so I am smack in the middle. What folks need to remember is that the Boomers are not a homogenous group; there are liberal Boomers and there are conservative Boomers. The simple fact is that many of the people running our government behind the scenes are part and parcel of these liberal Boomers; they are political survivors of a decades-old Democrat Party that has morphed from Blue Dog into Liberal Lunacy. Now the ones you see up front at the meetings…the ones before the cameras…the ones in the media pics… they might be progressive Millennials (the next generation past the Boomers) like Jen Psaki, AOC, etc. But the folks behind the scenes with their hands on the levers of power (like Ron Klan and the Obama folks and the Clintonites) are all Boomers. More importantly, the people who raised and taught (indoctrinated) these liberal/progressive Millennials were all liberal Boomers.
As they approach my age (70), it is increasingly clear that the hopes and dreams these liberal Boomers cling to have not been realized. They wanted to transform our nation and the world into their own image of never-never land; alas, reality has shattered those unrealistic expectations. Now, at this moment in the history of our nation and the happenstance of politics, they are faced with a diminishing window of opportunity to pack into our culture and our society as much of their liberal/progressive drivel as possible before the dawning realization of the public to their madness shuts them down via the mid-term and the next presidential elections.
Joe Biden was never a true liberal Boomer. He never really had any core beliefs whatsoever. He has always been a superficial, hollow, unprincipled political hack whose personal agenda and political positions followed the directions of the prevailing winds. But make no mistake about it; the people who are controlling this shell of a President are thoroughly authentic liberal Boomers. In the twilight of their public service (…and I use that term loosely) and political opportunity, they are not only using Biden as their Trojan Horse/Useful Idiot, they have also recruited these shallow and malleable progressive Millennials (Administration appointees and staff, mainstream media hacks, high tech puppets) they surround themselves with to frantically foist as much of their agenda as possible on the American people. And that agenda is one poisonous brew. It is a mix of the corrupt, greed-driven, power-lusting raw ambition fostered so long by the liberal Boomers blended in with the untethered, fantasy-derived, reality-denying wokeism of the progressive Millennials.
Think about how desperate this bunch of liberal idealogues are as they watch their marionette Chief Executive deteriorate before their very eyes…in slow, agonizing, and undeniable fashion. With one month to go before the mid-terms, they are severely hampered in what they can do to mitigate the obvious spectacle of a senile President and incompetent Party leader. They are caught between the rock of decrepit performance and the hard place of political reality. They cannot ditch him now without openly admitting the charade that has been ongoing for over two years. Even after the mid-terms, when Congress will (one way or the other) be transformed politically, they will have to contend with the consequences of hitching their political fortunes to a worn out, dull-witted plow horse in the harness with an untrainable and flighty mare.
Over the last few months, we have begun to get a sneak preview of how Executive Power might be used in illegitimate ways to implement a political agenda. This has occurred with a Congress that is in sync with the Administration. How far will Biden and the Democrats push it when Congress is no longer in sync? As they watch their window of opportunity slowing closing, what desperate measures will the Democrat Party, controlled by the liberal Boomers and the progressive Millennials, take to squeeze the last ounce of transformation out of their fleeting opportunity? They will do all they can to remain in power. They will do all they can to ingrain their political philosophy into this country. Thoreau wrote… “Most men lead lives of quiet desperation”. The current desperation of Biden and the Democrats is not so quiet. Let us count the ways.
Foreign Policy Follies. The global community is an ever-changing tale of political evolution and intrigue; full of glory, violence, deceit, cruelty, incredible bravery, and lust for power. When today’s chaotic events demand a true and fearless leader from America, the leading advocate for liberty and freedom…they are met with a vacuous stare and stillness that invites the worst of mankind to rise up.

The Economy. Seeds of irresponsibility and flagrant fiscal malfeasance have been planted into our government by both parties for decades; but the Biden Administration and Democrat Congress have taken this abominable agronomic/financial practice to new heights. Their refusal to adhere to any manner of common sense or reason when performing their governmental accounting duties is taking our nation on a downhill slide with no brakes towards a great, big, dark hole at the bottom.
